An internal spring-loaded retention shaft retracts during screwing of the nut. Ball joints, shock absorbers and anti-roll bar applications typically require Hold & Drive heads to fix them during assembly. Hold & Drive bindings can be designed as corner heads, closed end offsets, closed in line / angular or fixed attachments.
The special Hold & Drive heads take their name from the type of application to which they are dedicated; In fact, they are applied on special joints tightened with components requiring the locking of a threaded shaft or of the bolt while driving or tightening a locking nut.
